Purchase terms preview
These terms govern purchases made through utilityhut.com and form a contract between you (“the customer”) and UtilityHut PTY Ltd (“UtilityHut”, “we”, “us”). Please review them carefully before placing an order.
Orders & payment
- Orders are confirmed once payment is authorised through PayFast, PayPal, or EFT.
- Prices are displayed in South African Rand and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Discount codes and promotional offers cannot be stacked unless explicitly noted.
Shipping & fulfilment
- Shipping timelines begin once your order status updates to “processing”. Standard delivery within South Africa takes 1–3 business days.
- International delivery windows vary by region; duties and taxes are payable by the recipient.
- Delivery fees are non-refundable once goods have shipped, unless mandated by law.
Returns & exchanges
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging. Custom orders are final sale.
- To initiate a return, email care@utilityhut.com with your order number and reason for return.
- Refunds are processed within seven days of receiving the returned goods and issued to the original payment method.
Warranties & repairs
All UtilityHut products carry a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Natural material variations are not considered defects. We offer repair services beyond the warranty period—contact our team for a custom quote.
Updates
We may update these terms periodically to reflect operational changes or legal requirements. The most recent version will always appear on this page with the effective date noted.
